Patient information leaflets for people with learning disabilities

September 21, 2011 at 10:16 am Leave a comment

PRODIGY has launched a new set of materials on a range of health topics that are particularly relevant to the health of people with learning disabilities. The leaflets were commissioned by the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities and written (by the Easyhealth team at Generate) with easy words and pictures, making them suitable to give patients with learning disabilities or indeed anyone who struggles with written information.

Topics include common conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, obesity and thyroid problems.
