PRODIGY is a reliable source of evidence-based information and practical ‘know how’ about the common conditions managed in primary care.
The following topics have been updated to include new evidence and recommendations published by the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FSRH), the Quality and outcomes framework guidance for GMS contract 2011/12 and manufacturers’ summary of product characteristics (SPC).

The referral information for a transient ischaemic attack in the Stroke and TIA topic has been amended in line with the Quality and outcomes framework guidance for GMS contract 2011/12.
