NHS Evidence have released their latest Evidence Update:

‘Nocturnal enuresis: Evidence Update July 2012’ focuses on a summary of selected new evidence relevant to NICE clinical guideline 111 ‘The management of bedwetting in children and young people’ (2010).

In producing the Evidence Update, 241 pieces of evidence were searched, of which eight have been chosen for publication. An Evidence Update Advisory Group, comprised of subject experts, has reviewed the prioritised evidence and provided a commentary.

By producing Evidence Updates, NHS Evidence seeks to reduce the need for individuals, managers and commissioners to search for new evidence and to inform guidance developers of new evidence in their field.

Evidence Updates are publications produced by NICE that provide a summary of selected new evidence published since a literature search was last conducted for the accredited guidance in a particular field. They identify new evidence that might reinforce or generate future change to the practice laid out in the guidance, and should be read in conjunction with the relevant clinical guideline.
Please note: Evidence Updates do not replace current accredited guidance and do not provide formal practice recommendations.

Your help in disseminating ‘Nocturnal enuresis: Evidence Update July 2012’ https://www.evidence.nhs.uk/nhs-evidence-content/evidence-updates to your colleagues would be much appreciated.
