Course content
Keeping up-to-date with recent publications is vital for staff and researchers. This training course covers a range of services that will help you keep up to date. The current awareness services for healthcare information that facilitate this are mainly available in electronic format via the Internet.

At the end of this session you will be introduced to
•    RSS as a current awareness tool
•    Traditional methods of current awareness such as search alerts and table of contents
•    Using new social media to stay current

Prerequisites for this course:
•    familiarity with the internet resources for healthcare

Who is this course for ?
NHS, SGUL or FHSCS staff and researchers
